12 Of Wild Bum’s 2021 Bucket List Travel Destinations

A New Year, for many, also means resolutions, goals, and ways to better oneself in the 12 months to follow. But for us at Wild Bum, it means a brand new year of travel planning! Marking up our calendar, picking the perfect dates, and choosing our top bucket list travel destinations for the year to come.

This year, planning for travels hit us a bit different. Since it was pretty much taken off the table last year, it feels like our bucket lists are overflowing with destinations we’d like to explore. We realized in 2020 just how much travel meant to us, and the importance of making it a priority

The good news is that we are inching closer and closer to travel making it’s big comeback this year. And with the future of the traditional work office changing, it might mean more travel while working for many people. This year, even more than other years past, it has been fun to dream up where we will go and what we will see this year.

12 Places The Wild Bum Team Is Dying To Go In 2021

1. Tulum 

Tulum, Mexico is simply paradise. Just two hours south of Cancun, there’s a reason it’s become the “it” destination for celebrities, honeymooners, backpackers, and yogis alike.

2. Southern Utah 

Utah has something that everyone can enjoy. It has three and a half distinct geographic regions, five national parks, five national historic sites, forty-five state parks, twelve national monuments and many more interesting things to see everywhere you look.

3. Iceland 

From adventurous excursions or sight seeing opportunities Iceland would be a perfect vacation. This country has seemingly limitless beauty.

4. The Grand Tetons 

The Grand Tetons are located in Wyoming and they are simply magical. It’s one of those places you have to see to believe it’s real!

5. The People’s Kauai

Kauai is known as the “garden island” and for good reason. It has been the backdrop of numerous Hollywood movies including: Jurassic park, South Pacific, Raiders of the Lost Arc and many more.

6. Hiking in Banff 

Banff National Park (aka: the Canadian Rocky Mountains) is known for its turquoise blue lakes created by glacier waters, glorious mountains, hiking, and so much more.

7. South Africa 

One of the most beautiful and diverse regions in the world, the Garden Route of South Africa’s south-eastern coastline and Kapstadt (Cape Town) offer a wealth of memorable experiences.

8. New Zealand 

From hiking through the scenic mountains, ending the day with a local wine tasting. Or kayaking amongst local wildlife followed by a lakeside dinner. There’s nothing quite like the remote beauty of New Zealand.

9. Oahu, Hawaii

Whether you like to relax on the beach or hike to the top of mountains, Hawaii has something for everyone. With everything from surf lessons to snorkeling coves to the best açaí bowl you’ve had in your life.

10. Greece/Santorini

Greece: the name itself just makes you want to travel. This place is just as gorgeous as they say, even more. The white houses, the blue domes and sea, the green mountains, and the friendly Greek faces… they’ll leave a stamp on your heart for sure!

11. The Oregon Coast 

The pacific northwest is breathtaking and the coast is where beauty meets the ocean.  If you love gorgeous scenery, hiking, foodie adventures and beautiful beaches, it is the trip for you!

12. Cape Cod

Cape Cod (“The Cape”) is one of the world’s most well known summer destinations due to its quaint New England towns, pristine sand-dune beaches, cozy cottages, fresh seafood, vibrant arts and culture scene, unique history, and endless outdoor adventures.
