Coffee Hack for Travelers!

I have a great coffee hack for all my travelers out there!

If you are like me, you like a nice cup of coffee in the morning. I like to sip on it while I put on my face and do my hair. When I am traveling SOMETIMES there is no coffee and I have to wait until we hit up a cafe. More often than not, especially in Airbnbs or smaller hotels, there is no coffee.

Some of you are like, wait, what? Just wait until you go to a cafe to get a coffee. Um, ya, duh I do! But what if there isn’t time?! What if you are trying to catch a 6am ferry from Athens to Mykonos and you’ve been up for 2 hours already and you just WANT SOME DAMN COFFEE ARRGGHHH. Here is my traveling coffee hack solution!

MY COFFEE HACK:

Luckily, Trader Joe’s is coming in clutch. They have travel packets of instant coffee with cream and sugar already in the packet. I used to bring the instant coffee packets and steal the little mini creamers from work or my local diner and bring both. That is until, a creamer exploded. But now, I don’t have to worry about that since Trader Joe’s saved the day!

I saw these last year and got one box, and when I ran out and needed more they were GONE. I wouldn’t say they are seasonal but I haven’t seen them since last spring. Actually, I just found them on Amazon! Which is why I named this blog “Run, Don’t Walk to Trader Joe’s” because I am not sure how long they will be there.

You can find them in the coffee section, or I have also seen them at the checkout counters.

I don’t recommend bringing the whole box. Just take a couple out and shove them into your suitcase.

I think they taste fine. Nothing crazy. It’s no latte on a terrace at a Paris cafe but it will do for sure.

Hopefully this will hold you over until you reach your breakfast destination or boujee cafe. I personally travel a lot with my mother so I can’t make it far without a cup of coffee to handle her. ( I KID MOM… I’m kidding…)

Ta-ta for now! Happy #wildbumming!
