NOLA for foodies and cyclists.

When it comes to navigating New Orleans, the best way to get around New Orleans is by Blue Bike Share! It’s so easy and we were able to see so much more of the city than by other means of transportation. The trolley is an experience and Uber is easy, but we were so busy cycling all over, making stops at shops like DNO or grabbing a glass of champagne and an order of oysters during happy hour at Superior Seafood or taking in the scenery at City Park! And, don’t forget a favorite spot among locals located all the way at the end of the Bywater neighborhood, is Bacchanal Fine Wine & Spirits, where you can purchase a bottle of wine and sit in the courtyard while listening to live music! It’s those kinds of experiences that make Nola so special.

Navigating New Orleans by bike is surprisingly easy, most streets have a seperate bike lane. And, you won’t miss anything on your way from one neighborhood to the next! And, the way we did New Orleans was by going from one food spot to another — our own little culinary adventure! Even more reason to bike it off so you are ready for your next gastronomical experience. There is no shortage of amazing eats (and cocktails) in Nola. You can easily bike all of Magazine Street and take a ride through the cute little area of Freret.

Nola has definitely become one of our favorite spots for a weekend getaway — especially when we know we can hop on the Blue Bikes to see … AND eat it all.

Happy #wildbumming!
